FULL NAME: Sylvie Olivia Jane

FIRST APPEARANCE: Lilly Prospero And The Mermaid’s Curse

AGE AT FIRST APPEARANCE: Sixty Nine

POWER: Shape Shifter

POWER

Sylvie is able to shift into the shape of any living creature.  Her skills are superb and she can take the form of creatures of all sizes, however her preferred form is that of a tabby cat.  Indeed, she models her feline image on that of her pet cat growing up, Emilie.

For the majority of Lilly Prospero And The Mermaid’s Curse, Sylvie is trapped in cat form after being cursed by Coral’s father.  She wants to work to free herself back into human form, and is willing to sacrifice a lot to achieve it.

CHILDHOOD AND FAMILY

Sylvie had an unremarkable upbringing.  Her father had x-ray vision and worked as a detective in the police force, and her mother was an enchantress in a coven.  Neither was particularly astounding at the powers, but both were adept and enjoyed what they did.

Sylvie always enjoyed her power and naturally fell into coven life as she had seen her own mother do.  She fell in love with a soldier, a mortal, who was killed, but not before they had their son, also not of power.  She loved her son, and subsequent grandchildren, very much but out of pride refused to see them once she was trapped as a cat.
